She says, "Girls want superheroes, and the boys want superheroes. Girls want pink stuff, and the boys want...the boys don't want pink stuff." Even a little kid gets something of gender role impositions, dominance, and masculinity studies. Why don't boys want pink stuff and barbies? Yay Riley!
Riley is a smart cookie. My kids have all had that rant, in one way or another, at some point.
